Welcome to Coastal Cruising in British Columbia My co-editor George Meier and I hope you find the boating information useful and the articles entertaining and informative. Between us, George and I have been boating for over 30 years in the waters in the Pacific Northwest. The website came about as a result of a few conversations over drinks where we talked about the amazing amount of knowledge held by people we knew in our marina and in the larger boating community and how it would be great to share and showcase that collective wisdom. We decided to design and build a site that is built by boaters for boaters. To that end, we encourage you to use the blog to tell us about your experiences and what you want to see.
