Cruising Connected
For those of us who feel compelled to stay connected even when we are away from it all there are a myriad of choices here in the Pacific Northwest that allow us to compulsively check our email. I freely admit that I like to stay connected – I feel fortunate that I can sometimes work remotely which gives me more time on the water – but I have learned to turn it off once the barbeque is fired up.

I am not normally attracted to new technology – being forced to upgrade to a new operating system or browser usually involves some swearing as I discover new features I don’t care about and features I liked that don’t work anymore. But, I am so impressed with the new iPhone I bought this summer I may be in danger of finding my inner geek
